More Than a Friend

Based out of Montreal, More Than a Friend is a funky painting and illustrating collaboration between artists Krista Bursey and Jason Wasserman. The artists conceive all the ideas together, and then execute different areas of the project. Their mandate is creating experimental artwork that combines both artists’ respective skills and styles and usually revolves around a developed theme and exhibition context. We enjoyed how the pieces have an alternative, or occasionally "dark", feel to them — good conceptual ideas here.
